This spring semester, 12 groups of our international students of the exchange programme Doing Business in Europe worked on their branding assignment “Develop a successful marketing communication strategy to market Davines cosmetic products in Europe”.

Davines is an Italian family owned cosmetics brand that operates according to ethical and sustainable principles. Davines has the B-Corp sustainability label. Their tag line is “Beauty and sustainability”. All groups consisted of students with different nationalities, which guaranteed a true intercultural experience.

During this assignment, the students gained experience in working with international marketing tools, and in working together in an international setting with students from different backgrounds and cultures.

The best three groups presented their plan on Thursday 31 May to the client.  According to the client, the best teams were:
First place Team France (Nationalities: France, The Netherlands, South Korea, Austria)
Second place Team UK (Nationalities: France, Ireland, The Netherlands)
Third place Team Italy (Nationalities: Ireland, Mexico, France, South Korea)

The representative of Davine was excited about the high level of all teams. She specifically asked to allow her to forward the reports within her organization. This clearly shows your level of achievement of our international students.
